I also loved wearing perfume popular from the 80s and I still do up to this day. Friends who are younger have no idea what brand I am referring to, hard as it may for them to guess from their current popular fragrance brands. These are just a few of my most cherished photos of my mom. There are times I miss her a lot. Every Mother's Day, I think about the sacrifices she has done for me. She was all I had then, and I was her only child. I am thankful for her love and guidance especially during my formative years...

When someone walks past, or stands next to me and smells of an 80's perfume I am familiar with, I feel like going back in time and feel nostalgic over something I can't quite put a name to. And I wonder if the familiar 80's perfume I miss is still sold somewhere and where I can buy it. It's been two decades, and a huge number of new scents introduced in the market every year that some of the 80's perfume scents are left on the back shelf or even on storage. Some, I think, may have been off the market for a long time or may be phased out.

Well, let me jog your memory and mine, here's a partial list of the perfumes from the 80s that I love! And the good news is that these 80s perfumes are still sold by reputable online stores.

I'm back!!! I missed Music Monday for a week because I was working on other quick online income that I really had to do while I wait for my blog to become a hot page ... hahahaha .... kidding! ;-)   Okay, so my intentions for the beginning of the week was to blog about the perfumes that I miss from the 80s, which led me to think of any song that talks about perfume in the lyrics. I was all ready on google search when the lyrics "I need your tender kisses .. the feel of your hands, your caress... your perfume has me burnin' .. my heart's yearning to touch you, I need you so much" rang in my head. And I exclaim  ..of course! those lyrics came from the song from my Fairytale Dreams, a song I know so well by Robby Rosa of Menudo : "If You're Not Here (By My Side)"!!






Well, here's what I'm sharing today, a newer version of "If You're Not Here" performed by the child wonder  Fabiana Moneró and former Menudo member Charlie Masso. I think they're great!
