"Will You Still Love Me?" is one song I really like up to this day. I remember it being shared to me by my niece Faye in 1987, when it was not even played on the airwaves here in our province. I actually never heard of it except through my nieces and nephews singing it for me. The song was quite known in their La Union province first before ours. I can imagine it's still Faye's favorite together with awesome memories.
This song had a special meaning for me too. It's one of those songs that made me fall in love with love itself.. yeah, not with anyone then. It was a song during a loveless moment in my high school life - on my serious senior year whilst fretting about NCEEs,upcoming college entrance exams and doing good in school. Bittersweet recollections :)
"Will You Still Love Me?" is a song written by David Foster, Tom Keane and Richard Baskin for the group Chicago and recorded for their album Chicago 18 (1986). The second single released from that album, it reached #3 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart.

This Menudo fan (Robby Rosa fan, specifically) is at it again because of this 2014 summer heat in the Philippines! This song I love by heart brings me back to the "period of recovery" I had in 1986 when I had to attend summer class in Luzon Colleges Dagupan over this high school Algebra. Weep with me :here: :)

Two hit songs from my 80s adolescent hood for this Music Monday for me,yay!
The Romantic's "Talking In Your Sleep" was a great hit in the summer of 1984. It was a crowd favorite and I wonder why it personally reminds me of Eat Bulaga's Little Miss Philippines contestant Glaiza Herradura, hmm, now there's another entry to blog about next time :)
"Take On Me" by A-ha is an incredibly awesome music video and a great hit also. It was in early 1985 that the music video was released and often requested on MTV and VH1

A great Monday to all you folks! Just wanted to share this songs that I so miss though I'm not really a great fan. The acoustics and background music simply comfort me. With "Everytime You Go Away", I remember my mom used to joke it's a "scary" song as if you've been scammed by an overnight visitor.. because "everytime you go away,you take a piece of me with you" .. for whatever that meant I think I'm beginning to understand now :)

Happy MM, peeps!
Just thinking of some other amusing stuff to take my mind off the summer heat, North Korea and that little scare I got when I was in my moody moment last April 4th when an earthquake occurred. Nothing to worry about, it was just a 5-second one. :)

Have I said here yet that I was a quiet fan of the New Edition, I was also one of 'em who thought they were of the Jacksons.
