Music Monday - If You're Not Here Fabiana Monero and Charlie Masso

I'm back!!! I missed Music Monday for a week because I was working on other quick online income that I really had to do while I wait for my blog to become a hot page ... hahahaha .... kidding! ;-)   Okay, so my intentions for the beginning of the week was to blog about the perfumes that I miss from the 80s, which led me to think of any song that talks about perfume in the lyrics. I was all ready on google search when the lyrics "I need your tender kisses .. the feel of your hands, your caress... your perfume has me burnin' .. my heart's yearning to touch you, I need you so much" rang in my head. And I exclaim  ..of course! those lyrics came from the song from my Fairytale Dreams, a song I know so well by Robby Rosa of Menudo : "If You're Not Here (By My Side)"!!

Well, here's what I'm sharing today, a newer version of "If You're Not Here" performed by the child wonder  Fabiana Moneró and former Menudo member Charlie Masso. I think they're great!

Happy MM!

Hi Debbie! Thanks for visiting, happy MM to you too! :))
I used to hate this song during the 80s because it was all I heard on the radio. Now I realized, I miss the song. :)

Happy MM.
I know that time you are referring to when this song was often played on the radio! It was Menudo Mania time in 1985 when they first held a concert tour in Manila. Ahh, those were the times that I also miss.. :)
I quite liked it for first time hearing it ..thanks for sharing.

Have a fantabulosa week

Yes, I realize it really is! :) I've been listening to it all day, haha! I love the Puerto Rican accent also that I missed a lot.

Presenting "A Day In Life" my series of texts from my journals that I kept between the ages of 14 and 17. I'll be adding new entries every now and then to share all my thoughts, ideas, events, experiences, memories, ideas I had during the eighties. It is for my continued amusement that I read and reread my old journals, even when there isn't much content, I still gain occasional insight how I'm still in the process of changing to maturity. Most of the names have been changed to protect the people I recently found on Facebook. A few are just partial entries, my bleeping and blinding exclamations have been removed and some entries have been modified to give way to my now correct spelling and grammar. Yet the mix of excitement, melodrama and pleasant memories from the eighties are still much felt :)I hope, as you read my old journal with me, you enjoy the same sentiments.
